About Beth, Play Therapist.

Introducing myself

I am a dedicated play therapist with extensive experience in supporting children's emotional and developmental needs. My career has spanned various roles in both public and charitable sectors, allowing me to develop a comprehensive understanding of child development and therapeutic techniques.

Key highlights of my professional journey include:

  • Delivering community projects with parents and young children for the NHS, focusing on early intervention and family support
  • Managing playgroups and out-of-school clubs, creating nurturing environments for children to learn and grow
  • Collaborating with a local charity to support children with complex additional needs, developing tailored therapeutic approaches

My journey into Play Therapy began in 2009. Intrigued by this unfamiliar approach, I pursued further education and now hold a Master's degree in Play Therapy. I firmly believe that play therapy is one of the most effective interventions for children who struggle to verbally express their emotions.

My diverse background enables me to offer a unique blend of clinical expertise and practical experience in play therapy. I am committed to helping children and families navigate challenges, build resilience, and unlock their full potential through the power of play.
